Fakin Winery is the result of a dedicated family effort that has cared for its vineyards for generations. The premium location of our picturesque vineyards ensures top-quality grapes from meticulously cultivated varieties. Our philosophy centers around using our own grapes, from flowering to grape formation and harvesting, to guarantee the highest quality raw material as the foundation for producing high-quality wines. Our vines grow in white, stony soil, reminiscent of rocks, which imparts minerality, freshness, and distinct characteristics unique to our cultivated varieties.<\/p>

Grapes have been cultivated in Istria for centuries, and the specific characteristics of Istrian soil give our wines a unique character. Our vineyards are situated at various altitudes, on terraces overlooking the Mirna River valley and on hillsides. These unique conditions have allowed us to grow different grape varieties and produce a diverse portfolio of wines.<\/p>

Monte Bred, a truly special vineyard location, sits at approximately 200 meters above sea level in the Motovun wine region, bathed in sunlight throughout the day with an impressive view of historic Motovun. This specific shale and limestone-rich soil, teeming with minerals and green notes, is recognized in our Malvasia and Teran, making it distinct from all other locations in Istria.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
