Fakin Winery at the 'Blue of the Danube Tasting': Enjoying Fine Wines

Fakin Winery proudly presented its two red wines, Teran and Teran Il Primo, at the exclusive event "Blue of the Danube Tasting." This prestigious festival brought together selected professionals and wine journalists from the world of wine to explore the premium wines of the region and savor the unique flavors of fine wines.

Teran is already a well-known indigenous black grape variety from the Istrian region, which has won the hearts of many wine enthusiasts with its characteristic flavor. Teran Il Primo, a wine of premium character, provided a special experience and a richness of flavors imbued with intriguing earthy tones resulting from aging in well-integrated oak.

Our Teran Il Primo from the 2019 vintage was featured in the masterclass "Discovery Tour – Local Reds from the Danube Basin," led by renowned wine expert Caroline Gilby MW. This unique opportunity allowed visitors to delve deeper into the flavors of our wines, which bear the strong imprint of the Istrian terroir.
