TERAN IL PRIMO NAMED WINE OF THE YEAR

In 2020, Teran Il Primo from Fakin Winery was honored with the prestigious "VINUM LAUREATUM" award for Wine of the Year. This award is presented by the Vinum association, bringing together experts and enthusiasts in wine culture, and is given retrospectively for wines that were present on the market in 2019.

This annual award for wines in Croatia recognizes the best wines that have captured the hearts of wine enthusiasts, with the selection made by experts from the Vinum association. After preselection, the expert jury, composed of 12 members from the WSET, Sommelier Club, oenology profession, and top connoisseurs of the wine and gastronomy scene, made the final decision.

Teran IL PRIMO, a wine with the stamp of top quality and a unique flavor, impressed the expert jury and rightfully earned the title of Wine of the Year. Its rich and harmonious aroma, along with its refined taste, seamlessly fit into the overall offering of the best wines from 2019.

The "VINUM LAUREATUM" recognition is an additional accolade for Fakin Winery, whose dedication and love for viticulture and winemaking result in exceptional wines that conquer both domestic and international markets. This is another step towards achieving our goal – producing top-notch wines that embody the spirit of Istria and the richness of its vineyard landscape.
